Let's see where do I start with some of my story of where i been and where i was before. 20s in and out of county for alcohol related issues, feeling unworthy and didn't love or appreciate myself. Fast forward still in and out early 30s then get hit with that dui and prison time mid 30s. Let's just say while you have a lot of time to focus on just yourself you Learn about yourself, and even learn to love yourself and appreciate who you are. I don't look at my past as a hindrance because I get to look back and see where it can go wrong and decide do I wanna go back to dysfunctional or do I want to grow and continue to be healthier. I'm not perfect by any means but what I do think today is that I am learning and growing into the woman the creator wanted me to become. If your in early sobriety and recovery just know that it does get easier the longer your sober. But keep in mind we can't do it alone we need people who are supportive. If you relapse you get up and keep on trying. If I can do it you can also.

Hi Marie I love your story it’s inspiring and it’s so true that our past doesn’t define us
If we let it, it actually helps us become who we are meant to be.
