I had been planning a cookie social as part of Mom’s Christmas gift; the day after I arrived, I came down with a cold, so no cookie social. I also spent $80 to find out my car keys were NOT locked in my trunk! Sigh...Mom and I had a nice, productive, fun visit and I did make her some cookies. I got over the set backs quickly and sober and didn’t dwell on the negatives. I am getting better and more consistent with my actions when faced with unexpected challenges.
