Light venting

Havent been in a good space the past 7 months. Been dealing with physical pain and just been stressed at work. Both are getting somewhat better but been beating myself up cause I could have maybe prevented most of this. I’ve been posting just to interact with people so I dont stay in my head too much.

I wouldn’t judge at all. Most of us are all going through the same thing. It just takes someone to put it out there for the other to say they’re not by themselves. I like helping people so if I helped you thank you for letting me know. I feel I’ve done a good deed today. lol

Absolutely. We all have one common goal. This way of life would be difficult if it weren’t for others trying to help each other reach that goal everyday.

No1 sees our physical pain. Mine makes too many of my choices for me. It's something we need to do our best to get free from.
Prayers up!

Tell me about it Jay. I can tell people I’m in pain and people will look at me and say to others nothing is wrong with him. The craziest thing to do to someone. Going through that as well. Prayers to you too buddy.

My advice is to quit looking back. Go forward. If you’re looking back you can’t go forward focus on today one day at a time it goes. I’m having my 1st issue with a knee injury so afraid this could cause me to relapse opiates and Benzo were my thing. Always having someone else perspective helps. Good luck.

That’s the perfect thing to do so you’re not in your head. I love the support here. Keep your head up

I will tell you doctors will recommend opiates as a first option. You have to be honest with them and tell them how you will react. I have learned this over the years of me being sober. They will definitely respect that. I will say early on in sobriety it was tempting but you have to be honest with them and yourself. There are meds out there that will work that aren’t opiates and they aren’t addictive.

Be comfortable brother God doesnt mind if you're in pain he wants you to be good. But alcohol and drugs are fighting for our souls and if you need help with the 12 steps I'm your guy my guy
