That's awesome, Eric! Living the lake life sober must be so refreshing and peaceful. It's great that you're enjoying those moments of serenity and clarity. How does being by the lake make you feel?
It is peaceful! (not so much this weekend) 
it was Lake of the Ozarks with 12 buddies. I have a lake place in Wisconsin(which is peaceful). For me, it's about living life. My friends, not all, still party. I'm almost 6 years sober and have found out that I had to stop excluding myself to stay sober( if that makes sense). So, for me, my friends, who wouldn't let me drink if I wanted to and I have no desire to anyway. I have learned to enjoy simpler things, a good meal, great conversation, hiking, boating/jet ski, and other lake activities. I also remember if I got that feeling a sponsor/ meetings are always there. I also don't recommend being around people like that unless you understand yourself. For me, it works. I hope that everyone can find their way! Plus, I get to make fun of them 
I get real enjoyment from that!
