I've been having tha hardest time trying to stay clean ...somehow trouble always finds me.
I recently decided to cut off all my former "friends" to try to somewhat lessen my chances of relapse .
Is anyone on here from San Jose (Cali)?
(Today is also my birthday & I would appreciate some company, this time of year isn't tha best for me )
They told me to get to a meeting. There is safety in numbers.

HAPPY BELLYBUTTON BIRTHDAY . If I would have caught this yesterday I would have stayed an extra day or two. I was in E.P.A. since Monday. Just the thought of celebrating your birthday and hanging out with you sounds fun.
I fully understand cutting off the "friends" . Even in sobriety you will have to cut off "friends".
I also understand that this time of the year being the hardest time. I get it, however you're not alone. We are right here for you.

Very Happy Birthday to you and yes you NEED to cut those people out. It can make sobriety very lonely at times, but just remember the right people will start entering your life!
