Loneliness is killing me right right now. Even after a good productive day just still have that whole that someone that’s missing

I pushed myself today. A little more than I should have probably but it feels really amazing to have accomplished as much as I have today. Going to sleep like a baby tonight. More step work tomorrow. Just at that time in position where I really am looking for something real not just a hook up Like my best friend and someone that can bring me up and I can help bring them up when needed. The loneliness is some thing I struggle with a lot. I would love to find somebody that at least someone understands what I deal with daily and that would be willing to at least talk for a start. So if you have any interest at all please reach out. Have a great night!

Unfortunately, I do understand loneliness a lot. I am leaving with it on a daily basis. One of the reasons that drinking was so easy for me was because of the blackouts, because as soon as I drink I knew my mind would be gone soon and with it no loneliness, no thinking or no anxieties.

No I fully understand so it’s definitely hard trying to live a different way but I’m trying to be hopeful that someone will fall in my lap and treat me the same way I treat them like a normal human being and if it’s a relationship then like my best friend and ride or die

This isn't necessarily what you're talking about but I like to make friends at the gym. That way we have at least one thing in common. I'm taking a break from dating but I'm grateful for my friends and in time maybe one of these ladies and I will spark.

I totally understand, just be mindful because there is a lot of bad characters out there that will pretend to like but they are really trying to con you

Loneliness is something I didn’t expect to be one of the harder parts of recovery. It’s hard to find people outside of meetings setting that do anything social sober.
