Sometimes thats all we need!

I have the same problem. I have a cat here that helps with some of the loneliness I’m questioning whether or not I even want a relationship anymore after all the damage that was done to me by my ex-wife and I’m at the point where I’m like why even take the chance again just wish I could find somebody who was trust worthy

Keep connecting to people at meetings, fellowship, and do the inner work of steps and being of service. Work on your spiritual life and the rest happens eventually, you see a fellowship grow around you. Part of it is feeling loneliness for the first time without numbing it. It hit me in my first year of sobriety too and I just kept taking the actions and it eventually passed. :pray:t4:

I try to set see if anyone wants to go out and do anything like golfing or fishing those two things take a long time if you have it or set it up for a day I know I have nothing planned. Sometimes it’s nice just to take my dog for a walk and get out of the house for an hr.
