really great website to find AA meetings in your area - would recommend finding someone near you so when you feel comfortable you can meet up in person
Find meetings and listen. Some of the most amazing sponsers you'll find there. I went 2-3 meetings a day in the beginning in my journey. Glad to say 1047 days later and I'm sober. Found my sponser this way, there's always someone you find that you can relate to, someone you admire and they have something you desperately want. The gift of sponsership is priceless.
It took me awhile but I finally found an excellent sponsor. Very helpful instantly. Amazing part is although he is 20 years younger than me, certainly is older and wiser in sobriety. I am his first sponsee and he is making a big difference for me and he says I am doing same for him. Sponsor and sponsee is a 2-way street.
Try to find a local NA meeting in your area.Just Google NA and you'll find one guaranteed.And simply just attend,there are plenty of people willing to sponsor. You just need to ask they will let you know who to ask.If they don't just ask anyone they will help you.Getging a sponsor has helped me tremendously you never know It know it might not be temporary you could make a life long freind.
