Wanting to connect with other sober people to hopefully get me out of my shell and feel comfortable going to meetings and getting involved so I can stay sober. I’m from the DFW area in Texas! Thanks in Advance

Seems like most people are from Ca and FLA on here, but Loosid is growing rapidly. You always have the virtual community at the very least and there are zoom meetings for AA/NA as well. It took me a few times getting sober to realize that isolation wasn't conducive to staying sober. You've definitely got the right idea.

I’ll be entering an inpatient rehab about 2 hours from you Lindsay in 2 weeks city Wichita Falls. Hopefully when I get out we can take in some sober living meetings to get you out of your shell. Good Luck

That sounds wonderful. Im proud of you for going to treatment I went many times myself I know it’s not always easy. Stay with it thought and let me know when you’re out. I’ll be praying for you Andrew
