I went to my first meeting, it’s bitter cold in Kansas and there were only two people in attendance. I’m not going to be discouraged, just may wait til the cold isn’t keeping EVERYONE in. However, I would love to meet people and hear their stories/listen. I’m tired of replaying my story.

I am sober 9yrs and 9 months. This only happened by going to meetings. I tried every other way to stay sober and it didn’t work.
Her in NY, cold doesn’t slow down attendance in a constant way. Maybe a night here or there. But we come no matter the weather. Keep trying and you will be surprised.
