Looking for ways to remind myself

struggling with reminding myself that i am powerless over alcohol and that my life may be manageable now but it won’t be if i decide to drink again.

I put my "why" on my phone as a Home Screen/Lock Screen. I literally edited "THIS IS WHY" onto it.

Ah whenever I start toying with the idea of being able to drink again, I go straight to the ugliest of the ugly moments I’ve had drinking. I get real honest about the sht I put myself and others through when I was convinced I had it under control. Two concussions. Waking up next to strangers not knowing how I got there. Saying ugly things to people I love. The breath shaking anxiety and dark nights of the soul. There are worse things and we’ve each got our own lists but it’s how I keep myself in check..
