I just submitted time off requests to take CRS and CPS training courses which are being paid for by a friend in recovery. He sees how well my recovery is going and sees potential in me and wants to help me further not only my recovery but also my education regarding recovery. This is going to help me fulfill my goal of getting into a recovery based career! I’m so excited. Mid April is my CRS course and mid May will be my CPS training course. The promises really do come true!!! For those who haven’t heard of these, CRS is Certified Recovery Specialist and CPS is Certified Peer Specialist. It’s the CPS course that’s going to open up many doors to new experiences and the CRS course is going to broaden my abilities to helps others and is a prerequisite of the CPS course. Just the CPS course alone in my area is over $3000 
I’m so fortunate to have such great people in my life believing in me. I feel so blessed.
