Now that work is slowing done, I am trying to find new hobbies to replace the time I would normally be drinking. Open to all suggestions. Thanks all!
Exercising, volunteering at theatres, reading for self improvement
Plants, fishing, mountains and hardcore music!
Exercise, hiking, gardening
Art, cooking, hiking, reading, volunteering
If you are anywhere near as OCPD as me ...a list of the mundane things you should be doing anyway helps. I have 30 items every day from brushing teeth, to posting 3 times on Loosid, to reading 1 chapter, brain exercise app (Elevate) taking meds Am and PM, cardio , calisthenics. I'm probably a bit much but you get the gist. You'd be surprised how distracting and time consuming all these things are and it keeps structure in your daily life in lieu of work. Has worked for me, but I am diagnosed OCPD 🤷. Anyhew, good luck.
Fly fishing
Travel, learn to play an instrument, or volunteer in this time of holiday season.
Finding new hobbies always sounds like fun! Some of which I would recommend is cycling and working out at a gym or outdoors, they help you release stress and regulate your sleep schedule besides making you feel good at the end! If you can find a friend to do these activities with, it is even better!
Diamond painting, tedious but makes you concentrate.
