Loosid Sober Tip of the Day April 11

Moving from being sober to getting sober requires us to start working a spiritual program.

We have removed the ‘spirits’ and need to replace it with spirituality.

In 12-Step Groups, this consists of Unity (meetings and fellowship), Service (to others), and the 12 steps.

Whatever the spiritual program, you need to enter it quickly. If we sit in the seat of sobriety and not embark on a spiritual program, we will stay in pain.

If you have questions on what to do, ask in the comment section below. The Loosid community is here to help you.

If you have been sober for a while and are working a spiritual program, help the newcomers by sharing your experience below.

There are many people in the Loosid community who need to hear what you have to say.

With Love, Loosid :pray::heart:

This week I am going to make a huge step and get involved in AA and work the 12 steps. Not having a car right now is not an excuse because I can do it online or take advice from someone on here who told me to get a ride there and ask for a safe ride home from an AA member. This coming Saturday will be 90 and I want to keep up my sobriety and grow spiritually! Thank goodness for this Loosid community it starts my day off with such readings and inspiration to put in my sober tool box! Good Monday Morning to everyone!!! Oh I must mention I got to see my family over the weekend for my nieces prom and it was amazing. It has been over a year since I saw them and I am so blessed to have had the opportunity. Now that they see how good I am doing I get to spend Easter with them! :pray:t3:

Awesome work Danielle!

My experience with a Spiritual program of AA has been an awesome one. I’m very grateful today for everything I’ve experienced in life thus far. I’ve gone through so many emotions in sobriety with each outcome giving me more strength and wisdom to handle the next step. Working the steps with a sponsor who is continuously working their program has been a blessing. And now I get to be of service to my family, friends, other alcoholics and society. The best part for me is sponsoring others in the program who are willing to go to any lengths to get sobriety and work their program. I’m living proof that AA works if you are truly honest and open minded.

We are human, you slipped and the good thing is You Got Right Backup. You didn’t stay down which is a huge accomplishment. Take some time and journal how you got there. Was it internal or external and next time maybe it will help you from slipping. You can do it and You know you can. You will Conquer
