Loosid Sober Tip of the Day April 19

Moving from being sober to getting sober requires us to start working a spiritual program.

We have removed the ‘spirits’ and need to replace it with spirituality.

In 12-Step Groups, this consists of Unity (meetings and fellowship), Service (to others), and the 12 steps.

Whatever the spiritual program, you need to enter it quickly. If we sit in the seat of sobriety and not embark on a spiritual program, we will stay in pain.

If you have questions on what to do, ask in the comment section below. The Loosid community is here to help you.

If you have been sober for a while and are working a spiritual program, help the newcomers by sharing your experience below.

There are many people in the Loosid community who need to hear what you have to say.

With Love, Loosid :pray::heart:

Getting into the steps is what I believe it’s time to focus more on starting my steps will open up a whole new understanding of how things work I sit and listen to stories about how others started say” step and what they were able to get from it the spiritual path is what helps” for myself I have faith and hope I’m learning more about things that I have not always been aware of reaching out is what works for me the journey of recovery is life changing there’s just so much I’m learning and what’s important is wanting it more I have asked about the step work meetings I hope everyone has a beautiful day :pray:t3::sparkles::hugs:

A suggestion would be to get your self a good sponsor one who will work the steps with you. I also reach out a lot. for me step 3 is the key. I wish you serenity on your journey :pray:

Oh ya get your self the 12 & 12 book

Open yourself up to the council of a trusted sober mentor to be a sponsor.The steps are great-but not to be left to ones' own interpretation.

Find yourself a meeting you enjoy and get a homegroop. Once you start to feel comfortable in your homegroup you can go to business meetings and find out what you can do to help your group stay alive and running.Open up chair meetings, share your story with newcomers at a meeting by sharing your story and offering your experience. What it was like, what happened, and what it is like now. Reach out and talk to other members, remember your pillars are your strength.
