Loosid Sober Tip of the Day Aug 09

FEAR. False evidence appearing real.

Fear is something that seems to rip through many of our lives. In 12- Step literature, they call it an evil and corroding thread and should be classified in the category of stealing.

There is much truth to this, as fear only resides in the future and we do not know whether any of what we think may happen will ever materialize.

Fear very much fits in the category of stealing and it robs us of the one thing we can never get back… TIME.

Think about how much time you have been afraid of something that has never happened. How much time was spent in those fears?

Choose not to lose any more time. Make a decision to take advantage of the present. That’s all we have. All we ever will have,

This message was very clear to me, however, as a believer in Christ, and in His Holy Spirit, with scripture saying somewhere, “the fear of the Lord, is the beginning of Wisdom,” I feel like the Lord can use “fear,” to lead and guide us, and to teach us, to only be “afraid” of Him, and going against His Will, as He uses “all things, to the good of those who love Him.” Even the most difficult things, in our lives, such as death itself. Might be helpful to some, idk :man_shrugging:
Just my open opinion, and from my life experiences. Be blessed everyone!

It also says perfect love cast out fear :v::pray:

This is so true I've lost a lot of time energy and sobriety on fear. Once I let go it life became a easy definitely not easy but easier

As much as I say I fear nothing I found myself stuck trying to move forward with my life I'm scared to fail but fail daily because I'm stuck in place not knowing how to move forward :pensive:
