Loosid Sober Tip of the Day August 2

Expectations are future resentments in disguise.

We often spend our lives upset about people who have wronged us.

As we go through our recovery journey, you may realize that your moral compass is different than others.

Do not have expectations.

If someone does not act in a way that is in line with the principles you live your life, know that has nothing to do with you.

Pray for them as they are sick and suffering and need help.

No matter what, do not let this affect your serenity. At the end of the day, it is their garbage to pick up not yours.

Help them the best you can and if they are not willing to receive your help, move on and help someone who has the willingness to change.

Great information.!

Awesome :+1:

Love it

Expectations = EXPECT to be disappointed! Especially with others. Communicate and seek understanding and then it's no longer just an expectation. It's an unmet need or want.

I traded in my expectations for gratefulness.

This really hit home with me I just went through a divorce with a cheating wife it is her garbage not mine I want to help someone who wants to change thanks

Great tip!

Tip of the day: it’s just hard to be so breezy about your kid melting down, this close to homeless again & I’m no prize either.
