Loosid Sober Tip of the Day August 24

FEAR. False evidence appearing real.

Fear is something that seems to rip through many of our lives. In 12- Step literature, they call it an evil and corroding thread and should be classified in the category of stealing.

There is much truth to this, as fear only resides in the future and we do not know whether any of what we think may happen will ever materialize.

Fear very much fits in the category of stealing and it robs us of the one thing we can never get back… TIME.

Think about how much time you have been afraid of something that has never happened. How much time was spent in those fears?

Choose not to lose any more time. Make a decision to take advantage of the present. That’s all we have. All we ever will have,

I have lived in fear for many years! I have to fight it daily! I absolutely struggle with this on a daily basis. I am practicing turning it over to my higher power.

I needed to read this. I lost too much time over fear. I intend to not waste a single minute in fear and live every moment in FAITH.

Fear shows up in relationships alot because i learned that theres always “right and wrong” and Ive been leaning so far towards ‘right’ lately that being ‘wrong’ is making me afraid to be myself.
When in reality, a belief is simply a thought we keep thinking.
I intend to be a witness of the fear, not personalize/step out of the identification with it, and choose a different Path.
