Loosid Sober Tip of the Day February 01

I NEED HELP.

These three simple words are the most powerful words in recovery.

Remember, there is no graduation date in recovery. Every day we have the ability to learn more and put more ammunition in our spiritual toolkit.

No matter the length of our sobriety, there will invariably be times that we need help.

Whether you are starting your journey, or are long into your recovery, always put yourself in a learning mindset.

The first thing you need to remember is, when you are struggling, say the three words that no addict wants to say. These are the same three words that save us one day at a time for the rest of our lives.

They are also the same three words that started us on our sober journey.

The courage in recovery comes from our ability to be vulnerable. It’s OK not to be OK.

Just for today, have the courage to ask for help if you are struggling. You will be surprised how many people are there to support you when you do.

If you are willing to give help, reach out to your sober network to see how you can be of service. We can’t keep it unless we give it away.

How did this tip resonate with you? Let us know your thoughts below. There are many people in the Loosid community who need to hear what you have to say.

With Love, Loosid :pray::heart:

Yes we need help!!!

Yes

Thank! Great advice

I was struggling so bad yesterday. In my head and imaginations preplanning the possible negative outcomes... anxious, full of worry and fear. Guess what? Everything is going to work out. My sponsor tells me that all the time. I did some spiritual maintenance, went to a meeting and talked to another addict still suffering. I woke up in a whole other frame of mind. God is good and so is AA!

There are days when I struggle I hold on to a glimmer of hope in me that suggests that reaching out I have people in my life that care about me and are here for me this recovery community is always here to listen so if your struggling reach out looking for a life of peace,is always worth the hard work in sobriety having that willingness to learn and give back its suggested that what we learn on this road is how we come to face our fears it hasn’t been easy there’s such a ways to go there are days I feel vulnerable but I tell myself that I have come a long way this is my journey I hope everyone has a great day don’t give up :blush::sparkles::pray:t3:
