Loosid Sober Tip of the Day February 04

Action, Reaction and Inaction.

We often think we are responsible for our actions.

Remember, at any time, we are responsible for three things: Our actions, our reactions and our inactions.

Ironically, inaction is often the most powerful.

This may mean restraint of pen and tongue by not sending that nasty text, email or phone response to someone who hurt you.

It may also mean sitting quietly with yourself and observing your thoughts and settling your mind.

Actions and reactions are very powerful as well.

Write down your actions, reactions and inactions from the last day. Then take an inventory to see what inactions were not useful and should have been acted upon.

Do the same for actions and reactions. You will get better each day. It just takes a bit of practice.

How did this tip resonate with you? Let us know your thoughts below. There are many people in the Loosid community who need to hear what you have to say.

With Love, Loosid :pray::heart:

Today I do my best not to hurt anyone by something said sometimes you can hurt someone’s feelings and not even realize it I’m trying to learn to watch how I say things in all honesty it feels like there’s days when I do simple things that society seems to do daily yet I’m feeling as though I’m doing something wrong maybe it’s something I need to work on not giving up being willing to learn everyone has different goals having some of us need that guidance that learning and growing is one of the things I’m trying my hardest to work on growing up In recovery remember being made to feel so unimportant if only someone had sat down with me to discuss things I was doing wrong growing up it would of helped my growth but it’s about moving forward I can’t live in the past God please guide me through I hope everyone has a beautiful day :pray:t3::blush::sparkles:
