Loosid Sober Tip of the Day February 08

We often think we are only responsible for our actions.

Remember, at any time, we are responsible for three things: Our actions, our reactions and our inactions.

Ironically, inaction is often the most powerful.

This may mean restraint of pen and tongue by not sending that nasty text, email or phone response to someone who hurt you.

It may also mean sitting quietly with yourself and observing your thoughts and settling your mind.

Actions and reactions are very powerful as well.

Write down your actions, reactions and inactions from the last day. Then take an inventory to see what inactions were not useful and should have been acted upon.

Do the same for actions and reactions. You will get better each day. It just takes a bit of practice.

Me personally I just shut down and not say anything to anyone when I get upset with them and I wait until I am not upset and talk about it but I also pray about it and give it over to the Lord because it's or will but his response

Living life and being responsible I believe is what we all are all striving towards being open to learn from others who have the understanding of living life sober we can all learn from one another there are so many people in this program that want to change weather it be old behaviors or understanding what you need to change to live life peacefully life I’ve learned to think about how I say things I’m not perfect and I’m getting better in certain areas but I’m giving it my best I don’t want to ever hurt someone’s feelings I as well as so many of us know what it’s like to have our feelings hurt today so this process of growth gives you the tools you’ll need to navigate I know being open to wanting to live better sober is a blessing something I am so thankful for I hope everyone has a blessed day :pray:t3::blush::sparkles:
