Loosid Sober Tip of the Day February 10

Creating and maintaining an attitude of gratitude.

One of the most powerful tools we learn in a spiritual program of recovery is gratitude.

It is also something that, at first, is very hard to see, as many of us tend to gravitate to the negative and get stuck in self-pity.

Creating a context switch to think what we are grateful for takes us out of self-pity and shifts our thinking into the amazing opportunities and possibilities that lie ahead.

If you have connected with a sober network, you will often find that many of them send out gratitude lists each and every day.

It is a way of giving hope to ourselves as well as to others.

If you are not part of a gratitude group, connect with members below and write down what you are grateful for.

At Loosid, here is what we are grateful for today:

We are grateful to have a platform of likeminded others who share a common bond and help one another on a daily basis.

We are grateful that you read the daily sober tips to better yourself each and every day.

If you are new or just exploring the benefits of sobriety, we are grateful for your courage to ask questions and explore new possibilities.

If you have been sober for a while, we are grateful for setting a great power of example for people who are new and need help.

We are also grateful that you continue to practice a spiritual program every day as we cannot live today on yesterday’s sobriety.

Now, your turn…

What are you grateful for?

Share your gratitude list below.

There are many people in the Loosid community who need to hear what you have to say.

As a reminder, be sure to connect with others who are posting below and in the feed to grow your sober network. You will never know when you need them, but one thing is for sure… you will need them as we cannot do this alone.

Alone we are powerless, together, there is nothing we can’t accomplish.

With Love, Loosid :pray::heart:

Today I am Grateful for God's will in my life instead of my own after 50 yrs of being an alcoholic addict and doing it my way NOT being able to admit I was powerless over my Addiction that took me into the Armpits of my Addiction, until I hit my knees on May 28th 2023 and LET GO AND LET GOD HAVE IT for me that was the ONLY WAY OUT OF THE ARMPITS OF MY ADDICTION

I am grateful that God is so good!, I'm grateful that I am over 4 years sober and have no desire still for drinking or drug, and I am so grateful for all the new family I have found in AA, CR, and my church

I'm so grateful to my HP whom I call God for keeping me clean and sober for almost 8 months I've tried it on my own and it never got me anywhere, when I truly surrendered and realized I was powerless over my addiction and let him lead the way I got out of my own way

I'm truly grateful today.Grateful for this community to start with grateful for God, Jesus my lord and savior I'm clean and working a program of recovery I'm grateful because my God has provided me with everything that I need and some of the things I want right now. I'm currently without a Driver's license. A vehicle and a job But I'm truly grateful for what I have today. I have a house that's almost paid for I have food in my mouth. My wife has a car. So I'm grateful that we have one car, at least very grateful.I'm grateful that my family is willing to talk to me and trust me today. But the most thing i'm truly grateful for is God in this community , without these two I would have nothing, So if you're reading this and you're new and recovering one day at a time , one step at a time , and be grateful for what you do have and don't look at what you don't have love all
