Loosid Sober Tip of the Day February 13

Put down the bat, take out the feather.

We are often so hard on ourselves that it is no wonder why often find ourselves out of serenity.

There is a saying in recovery, “If anyone treated me the way I treat myself, I would not tolerate it.”

Today would be a great time to remind yourself to put down the bat and take out the feather.

Whether you are in the beginning of your journey or 30 years in, we must make sure we treat ourselves with dignity and grace. Be gentle on yourself today.

So true! Love, compassion and forgiveness. Always have to remind myself that I should extend those things not only to others, but also to myself.

I am currently striving for self-forgiveness , it seems my memory has unlocked or my denial has been broken and I see how through selfish fear I pushed everybody away and was incapable of friendship or love relationship for any length of time .

Finding grace during relapse is tough.

Any advice would be helpful.
Thank you

Great advice!

A needful reminder!
I often have to remind myself to be gentle with myself. It's becoming a habit.

It’s a hard thing to love yourself first! If you do it will be a life changer

I needed to hear this, thank you

Let go. Let God.

I hate to sound ridiculous but how are you nice to yourself? If using meth is self destructive is not using loving myself?
