Loosid Sober Tip of the Day February 25

In unity there is strength.

Whether you are entering recovery for the first time or have been in recovery for a while, it is always important to always keep in mind that, on our own, we are in big trouble.

Alcoholism and addiction are diseases of isolation and it is imperative that you connect with others who are on the same journey.

Why? Because you need to know that you are not alone. There are millions of people who share the same common bond as you.

Though all of our experiences may be different, the feelings of isolation and needing to get of the now remain the same.

Take the time today to connect with others who are on this journey with you. Once you do, you will never be alone again.

In unity there is strength. Alone we are nothing. Together, there is nothing we cannot achieve.

How did this tip resonate with you? Let us know your thoughts below. There are many people in the Loosid community who need to hear what you have to say.

I never knew there could be people that actually really care about you and actually love you and really do want to help you without expecting something in return! I am so grateful for my new family I have found through CR and AA and my church

I can always use this reminder. Sometimes it is very hard to connect with others that want to change their habit but aren't actively in recovery. That being said the mutual bond we share of addiction is always healing to talk about. Thanks

Yay!! Keep holding strong! Those thoughts always change for me once I hit that 30-day mark. Hoping that mark will help you as well.

I think it goes along nicely with the JFT for today. Our defects are only secrets as long as we refuse to share them with another human being, and secrets only have power over us as long as they are secrets. Unity is the answer just as connection is the opposite of addiction.

Needed this. Thank you

Strength in Unity :handshake: I like that

It's great to be able to share with everyone. It is very supportive during these times!
