Loosid Sober Tip of the Day Jul 05

In unity there is strength.

Whether you are entering recovery for the first time or have been in recovery for a while, it is always important to always keep in mind that, on our own, we are in big trouble.

Alcoholism and addiction are diseases of isolation and it is imperative that you connect with others who are on the same journey.

Why? Because you need to know that you are not alone. There are millions of people who share the same common bond as you.

Though all of our experiences may be different, the feelings of isolation and needing to get of the now remain the same.

Take the time today to connect with others who are on this journey with you. Once you do, you will never be alone again.

In unity there is strength. Alone we are nothing. Together, there is nothing we cannot achieve.

How did this tip resonate with you? Let us know your thoughts below. There are many people in the Loosid community who need to hear what you have to say.

Excellent reading! The reason why I say this is because that is one of the root of our disease to be alone is the opposite of a we program when I began this journey of recovery and I heard this is a WE program. I felt so much relief that I wasn’t alone and that I also Can make it easy by turning to one of my fellow Alcoholic/Addict team members and share whatever I felt when I was lonely I used to drink alone and I loved it so that’s why this reading is very familiar and I can relate very well with it even now with several years under my belt I can Pinpoint right away what my problem is and it’s because I’m spending too much time alone and that’s what happens you get the community in your head that we also call stinky thinking telling you crazy stuff the insanity could creep in so connecting to your network of people from recovery is an excellent idea and get you out of the loneliness :star_struck:
