Loosid Sober Tip of the Day July 10

Moving from being sober to getting sober requires us to start working a spiritual program.

We have removed the ‘spirits’ and need to replace it with spirituality.

In 12-Step Groups, this consists of Unity (meetings and fellowship), Service (to others), and the 12 steps.

Whatever the spiritual program, you need to enter it quickly. If we sit in the seat of sobriety and not embark on a spiritual program, we will stay in pain.

If you have questions on what to do, ask in the comment section below. The Loosid community is here to help you.

If you have been sober for a while and are working a spiritual program, help the newcomers by sharing your experience below.

There are many people in the Loosid community who need to hear what you have to say.

With Love, Loosid :pray::heart:

There is a difference between sober time and recovery time.

Sobriety must be your number one priority. It’s the great paradox you can have nothing unless it is number one . The disease that wants you back will always disagree , therefore, with trickery and deception tell you you can have it another way. Well, we’ve all tried that, and thank God we don’t shoot our wounded .

Amazing how it works, when I was on the tip of a relapse this weekend I had a member of my community reach out just to say hi and it kept me from a relapse. I agree the people in my community are my higher power.

I have been sober for the most part of almost 11 years.

I can not stand AA or the people who claim the only way to be sober is to do AA.

If you are criticizing someone else's recovery you need to check yourself.

On 12/14/80 I walked into Freeport Hospital and I didn't know I was walking straight into my loving God's arms! For me AA works!
