Loosid Sober Tip of the Day Jun 08

In unity there is strength.

Whether you are entering recovery for the first time or have been in recovery for a while, it is always important to always keep in mind that, on our own, we are in big trouble.

Alcoholism and addiction are diseases of isolation and it is imperative that you connect with others who are on the same journey.

Why? Because you need to know that you are not alone. There are millions of people who share the same common bond as you.

Though all of our experiences may be different, the feelings of isolation and needing to get of the now remain the same.

Take the time today to connect with others who are on this journey with you. Once you do, you will never be alone again.

In unity there is strength. Alone we are nothing. Together, there is nothing we cannot achieve.

How did this tip resonate with you? Let us know your thoughts below. There are many people in the Loosid community who need to hear what you have to say.

With Love, Loosid :pray::heart:

Horse do do

It's interesting because I am actually sitting in Church. The RECOVERY CHURCH in ST PAUL, MN. We are all alcoholics or addicts supporting one another. I love IT because we are here to worship our CREATOR and to heal together. No one judges me for what I look like or for what I am wearing. We are in OUR recovery, TOGETHER :pray::heartpulse::pray:

My wife is struggling today and I was going to leave her alone and let her deal with it on her own. This message helped me remember that it's not good to do it alone. I'm on my way home to help her!

You know we say we struggled as we struggle to have we did sweet that I can't do this I can't do that first of all let's go back to the history of these substances how did they get here who brought them here who fermented alcohol who process cocaine about it over here who bought heroin over here what government was responsible for the global drug scourge America and England so before we get the calling ourselves this let's call them something they're the ones that have destroyed hundreds of means in lives with their alcohol and their drugs which they property off of and continue to profit off of no one ever says anything about the cause of how we got f***** up in the first place. Yeah I can dig the church and higher power and all that s*** but let's speak about the power that made us powerless but no one wants to hear that because now I'm just being angry black man well so f****** what look at the wake of their work look at the destruction that they have caused they all right no and it's a fact that the Central intelligence agency Anglo-Saxon white men conspire to bring metric tons of cocaine into black and brown neighborhoods to destroy them I rest my case.
