Loosid Sober Tip of the Day March 03

Identify, don’t compare.

When we come into a spiritual program of recovery, many of us will find that we compare our stories with others.

We may feel we have not reached the desperate levels others have or, alternatively, we may look at our stories and think that we have had a much rougher time.

It is not our job to take the inventory of others.

It is very important never to compare stories, but rather identify with the feelings.

Look for the similarities, not the differences.

When we focus on similarities, we will invariably find them.

I have learned in this program that it’s never about comparing stories it’s about processing our feelings, healing and understanding how your story can help others I’ve been taught that we can’t keep what we have been given if we don’t give it away beautifully said:blush: becoming a person that has been through so many stories so many obstacles to share in hopes of helping someone is a blessing To change , become one of the success stories is what we hope for In a world where we can feel alone it helps when you can find the guidance and support that is so much needed reaching out and sharing can save a life I hope everyone has a blessed day :pray:t3::sparkles::blush:
