Loosid Sober Tip of the Day March 20

Put down the bat, take out the feather.

We are often so hard on ourselves that it is no wonder why often find ourselves out of serenity.

There is a saying in recovery, “If anyone treated me the way I treat myself, I would not tolerate it.”

Today would be a great time to remind yourself to put down the bat and take out the feather.

Whether you are in the beginning of your journey or 30 years in, we must make sure we treat ourselves with dignity and grace. Be gentle on yourself today.

The thing that held me back in my early recovery, was that I couldn't forgive myself for all I had done,,, BUT I HAD TO REALIZE, IF GOD HAD FORGIVING ME, WHO AM I THAT CAN'T FORGIVE MYSELF AND FOR ME THAT'S WHEN REAL HEALING BEGAN WITHIN ME AND I HAVEN'T LOOKED BACK AT MYSELF THE SAME SINCE !!! AMEN :pray::pray:

Once I put down the drink, I had to learn about self-care. It was really important to have good examples in recovery to lead the way

Thank you, I needed this reminder :brown_heart:
