Loosid Sober Tip of the Day November 09

Put down the bat, take out the feather.

We are often so hard on ourselves that it is no wonder why often find ourselves out of serenity.

There is a saying in recovery, “If anyone treated me the way I treat myself, I would not tolerate it.”

Today would be a great time to remind yourself to put down the bat and take out the feather.

Whether you are in the beginning of your journey or 30 years in, we must make sure we treat ourselves with dignity and grace. Be gentle on yourself today.

I bulldoze people with my expectations. l am learning how to take it down a notch

Self care is very important, especially when we're helping others. We can't transmit something we haven't got

Patience, I want everything to happen now. When I know it takes time. So I will humble myself and be patient.

I'm so hard on myself about everything it takes so much energy oyt if me.
Everyone else helps treated with dignity and respect but God forbid I make a minor mistake, stumble step or just look in the mirror at my myself and not love that guy back and how far we have come thru the good and bad,we still prevail I don't know how but when the smoke clears we are always standing tall and proud.
