Loosid Sober Tip of the Day October 4

FEAR. False evidence appearing real.

Fear is something that seems to rip through many of our lives. In 12- Step literature, they call it an evil and corroding thread and should be classified in the category of stealing.

There is much truth to this, as fear only resides in the future and we do not know whether any of what we think may happen will ever materialize.

Fear very much fits in the category of stealing and it robs us of the one thing we can never get back… TIME.

Think about how much time you have been afraid of something that has never happened. How much time was spent in those fears?

Choose not to lose any more time. Make a decision to take advantage of the present. That’s all we have. All we ever will have,

How did this tip resonate with you? Let us know your thoughts below. There are many people in the Loosid community who need to hear what you have to say.

With Love, Loosid :pray::heart:

Fear is evil corrupting the mind. We have almost nothing to be afraid of, and most of it is internalized.

Agreed! Fear is what rips out our Serenity. Each day we need to let go what's going to happen that we cannot control and just think about a few small things we can control we should control Then just do them and let the rest go. Drop the rock...

I love this because it's so real. And while I think every human struggles with it to some extent, I do feel like addicts struggle in excess with this mindset. Deep breathing and a mindset that focuses on the hear and now has been helpful to helping me get through these spells and hopefully it can help some of you as well. Have a great day, folks

My spiritual condition based in part on my relationship with God helps keep me in the present and away from future-tripping fear.

Love to read anything about how to battle and defeat fear.

My addiction and behavior caused me my family.

My biggest fear is to lose them for good.

Honestly, I have no idea what life would be without them.

I do focus on what I have to do daily, I wish I have my family with me now.

It’s my toughest challenge that I’m facing at this present time.

I feel for you; I lost my marriage but I found God and now rely on Him instead of people, places and things.

I spent most of the time overthinking and it's has not been doing anything for my whole life lol but I've been 60% less i have and things have been getting fantastically better because of my positive vibes, attitude and mind set I've adopted in my road to recovery so for all who's going through this same thing give your body the best type of rest, and give your inner self get the chance to revive it self as well eat very well and have a regular things to be doing.
