Lost the life I built in sobriety in a few short months. Coming back from it feels impossible right now.

Journal, cry, listen to uplifting music, get out in nature! Think of all the good memories you had together…

@c391318 ... You didn't lose the life you built in sobriety. You traded it in for alcohol/drugs.
You can always come back and start over.

Carl, nothing is impossible. We get back up and walk fwd. Everything will work out if we work it.

Carl, this is an enlightening time for you! The fact that you are alive and know the difference…you can grieve the loss of that life, take it to move forward. Forgive your self! Everyday is an opportunity, you’ve got this!

That happened to me last March 2024 and I'm still recovering from it hang in there thing get better

Just get going again. Trust and believe i know how hard it is. I've been in and out since 2019, in my 3rd oxford house in the past year now. I just got 6 months again. But it's worth it and I believe in you! Welcome back!
