My dog Zeus was a huge reason why I quit drinking. There’s a lot of other reasons, but I realized if I couldn’t take care of myself, how chould I take care of this dog that I loved so much, so loving him forced me to take care of myself. That led me to reading the Bible and I found that God is the ultimate source of love. Amen! There are answers to whatever we face in life in the Bible. I study the Big Book of AA too, but a lot of what it teaches came from wisdom in the Bible.
