Lying about being sober to friends and family and then getting caught. Had a good friend do this. I wonder what hurt worse the fact he was using or lied about being sober. I’ve messed up many times in my past, hope he gets back on track

Pray for him and let him know he didn’t lie to anyone but himself. Our condition has a trickle down affect to others, but an immediate one for us. Rather than revel in the joy of pleasing family and friends when sober… Just get sober again! Show them that you’re still trying! I’m definitely praying for your buddy J.
