Made a promise to myself

Need to feel in charge of my life and the choices I’m making. My choice is to stay sober and in control.

Not sure what direction to take.

Hey Jody ! Do you go to meetings on Zoom? If you can’t get to a impersonating? Are you a person who’s interested in becoming a part of a organization or are you more of a smart AA Avenue type of person?

Jody, you’re not alone. Lean on the sober community. We are much stronger together.
I’m here if you want to talk

If WE thoroughly work all 12 steps with a sponsor, the word “control” goes right out the door.
WE can’t control anything. It’s just an illusion. Once I understood that after working the steps, my life got so much better. WE cease fighting anything, BB p 84
I encourage you to get into the Big Book and the first 164 pages. That is the solution.
God is our director. He’s running the show.
When we turn our life (thoughts) and will (actions) over to the care of God (trust) in step 3, it’s about giving up control.
Best wishes :pray::peace_symbol:
