Maintaining a 172 lbs weight loss

And once again, I neither lost nor gained an ounce. I seem to be stuck at 154 lbs. I’m not going to lie, I was angry with myself for having “hit a wall” in my weight loss. But then I remembered that at this time last year, I was stuck at 250 lbs, and that if I keep losing every week forever and ever, there’ll be nothing left of me. That I always knew the stopping point would eventually come. So yeah, I guess I’m “stuck” being a curvy Mediterranean woman, weighing 154 lbs, wearing a US size 14, which is what I’m told the “average” woman wears.

Nice job freeing yourself of societal expectations, and finding peace and acceptance. You’re “stuck” in a very nice place lol. I’m stuck at 5’ 9”, and there’s not a darn thing I can do about it. Let’s give ourselves a break today, and love ourselves just the way we are!

If you are chasing the BMI stop. I am 6'3" and was down from 310 to 173. My BMI is 150. I looked like a skeleton in a skin suit at 173. BMI doesn't account for musculature or skeletal build. My doc said I should never be lower than 210 and ideally should stay at 220-230.

I stand five foot nothing and started my weight loss journey at 326 lbs, which is “morbidly obese”, and am still overweight at 154 lbs, but I’m not obese. I’m not chasing that size 6, I just wanna maintain this, this healthy weight.

Good. I see so many think BMI is the be all end all of health. It isnt. Maintain a healthy lifestyle is always the goal.
