Heading to the dentist yesterday and this was parked in front. Gave me a laugh bc I was talking with a friend this weekend about how much my skin and teeth and body image improved when I got sober. Im not a vain person but there was a definite moment after being sober a few months where I looked at pics of myself over the past couple years and honestly couldn’t believe how I looked. I didn’t feel sexy back then but also didn’t feel so far off… looking back I can see how uncomfortable I was and how much damage and stress I was absorbing from the alcohol abuse.
