Since I stopped drinking, ive been finding it hard to meet other people. Some of my friends slowly stopped talking to me.
I hope to hear other people’s experiences to help kill the sting a bit.

Nicole, my drinking friends all faded away. Which kind of sucked at the time. But I made much better friends in AA/CA/NA. Friends that are there for me when I really need them because I’m there for them too. Go to 90 different meetings in 90 days to find the meetings you actually enjoy and people you like. Tell your story, give your number to people and get numbers too. Then text and call them.
I learned it’s easy to make good friends by first being a good friend with no expectations. Sober folks are deeper and more reliable. So I count myself lucky😊
