Making progress, started therapy today and I’d never imagine me

Making progress, started therapy today and I’d never imagine me doing that, but talking to someone who can help you through these matters is actually amazing. I started to workout again, I use to be an athlete but once alcohol became my drug of choice it sucked away any physicality away from me! I actually got up and made breakfast, the last time that happened was years ago.

I guess what I’m learning through this sobriety gig is it’s the baby steps and baby goals that make you into a great man or woman.

So proud of myself ppl! Keep me in your prayers that I stick to this!

Way to go Andrew. I was more afraid of going to AA then seeing a therapist. One of by better choices in Life. It’s like going to planet fitness the “No Judgement Zone”. My therapist has me reading a book, watching the movie the Secret and every week homework. My therapist puts up with no BS and if you are not trying and keep making excuses about the work and why you didn’t do it he says Bye Bye. I wish you luck and please be 100% honest with him/her. Keep in touch. Jersey Shore here

Thanks man! Yea I’m going all in letting him know it all. I got nothing to lose and everything to gain at this point. Trying to see him twice a week to start. Aa yea man I’m still afraid but I’ll get there it just takes baby steps!

You are an inspiration! Truly. My first baby-step goal is to vacuum! I hear ya!
