The last four months before getting sober, I was easily spending two-three hundred dollars a week on alcohol. I’ve only been back to work for a couple weeks, & I already have close to $1000 saved already! It looks like I’ll be able to afford to rent an apartment before the end of the year. Between taking care of my mom after her stroke & my move from home, I’ve been couch surfing for about three years. It feels good to know I’ll have a place of my own soon!
