Me and my ex divorced last year and we were both addicts! But it’s still hard to be by myself and going through recovery! When we stop together it was easy! By myself it’s hard! I’m 9 days recovering! Can’t sleep! Always on edge it feels like! Going to meeting and starting a new job tomorrow!

I finally left my ex because he wouldn’t get clean with me. The hardest part was I found out I was just as addicted to him as the drugs! This time alone has helped me learn who I am again without needing affirmation from another. Stay strong and give yourself some love
