In silence . . . You cultivate a greater capacity to receive guidance.
But if the silence is too loud for you, a guided meditation is the next best thing. The app Insight Timer has some really great ones.
Sorry. I have a nature that allows me to shut everything out and that annoys people.
Sometimes focusing just on my breathing helps (I’m sure you’ve heard that one). When it starts, when it ends, if there’s a pause, how deep it is, etc. And sometimes when my crazy bouncy brain can’t just focus on my breathing, I try a body scan meditation, or a guided one like someone said before. Hope you find what works for you!
