One thing I hear spoken about in early sobriety is all the firsts we'll have to go through. Like flying, weddings, concerts, etc...
A huge one for me is "how am I going to date sober?"
I mean how am I going to act confident and spit game to these ladies. Lol.
Well I made it through one. Woohoo. I had a wonderful conversation over a lunch that didn't include shots, or any alcohol whatsoever. I remember the whole thing, didn't act the fool. The lady stayed the same, meaning she didn't get hotter as I got more loaded. ie; beer goggles.
I consider it a huge win....that being said, our next date will probably be an evening one and she will probably have a drink. Sad that I'm already tripping about this. Pray for me y'all.
