How has your mental health improved since becoming sober?
I mean it's better, I have a job now and it's at a place I'm always at the gym. It's just the isolation and loneliness sucks. I have my apartment and I'm super grateful for my family but it would be nice to have people to talk to yea know
Amanda! Hello!
This is a great topic! For me, it’s like I’m a new person! I do struggle a little on the anger side at times. But other then that I can just be. I’m able to take in the situation and not react to everything as if the world is ending. That’s huge for me. I’m reading almost every night a chapter or two, which I would have ever done.
I have 622 days today. Love my life. Love to help others. Living life on life’s terms.
it's definitely trended up since getting sober📈, I started going to therapy and walking through and underlying causes and conditions. it uncovered a lot of stuff too, is given me experience to share with others💕
I totally get it. Sober connections are crucial and they're hard to find. If I weren't Christian I wouldn't have sober friends. It makes me sad for those who don't have sober friends.
I'm glad you're improving. I know how difficult it can be to overcome a temper.
Hi, Cam. I'm glad you are working through those issues. It's not easy. Keep taking care of you.
Thank you
I only compete with myself these days.
Me, too.
