Mental Funk

I have been in such a slump lately. Honestly, most days have been a negativity loop which hasn’t by MO since I got sober. All I want to do is sit at home. On the bright side, I still walk every day with my dog. Today, I finally decided to stop letting the metphorical cloud follow me around and got outside for a run. Feeling much better, and I am working on adding more positivity into my life since antisocial “rest” days have become my new norm recently. Still sober, though!!

Good for you! Getting outside or going to the gym always helps me, even when I don't want to go.

It’s always been my best medicine. Glad it helps you, too! I feel like a new person after a 30 minute run.

Same here. Lots of antisocial rest days lately. Like Clay the gym has been a major help the last few weeks!

Getting out of the house for any activity really is great medicine.
