Hooray for not acting impulsively!! I slept on a decision, journaled about it, checked in with people in my community, calmed down, took a PTO day from feeling overwhelmed, wrote an email but saved it in drafts, focused on the positive, treated myself to lunch. Learning to breathe, learning to pause, learning to feel the feels but not let emotions control me. Something I could never do before getting sober, before therapy, before AA.
