Message for today as addicts people count out before we even get started because of all the things we do in addiction to get high or stay high, they seem to point out our rooms before our rights our afflictions before our message and our downfall amongst our wisdom that the rooms teaches every single day when you go into a meeting they count us out because they’ve never seen us do anything great but mess up but then when we decide that every day we make a conscious decision to get clean and stay clean our lives become more manageable. We’re no longer unmanageable so when you see that attic, come up with a great job that you wanted, but you couldn’t get it because of performance that’s because we worked our butts off to get there because we know that there is no light at the end of our tunnel and we’re gonna have to pick ourselves up. We have to play our tape all the way through even if people begging and asking for money these were decisions that we didn’t get to make for ourselves because all our money and everything else went toward getting high. We didn’t think about our open doors. We closed the doors before they were even open for us, but today we don’t have to do that today we can make a conscious decision to stay high, stay sober today we can make a conscious decision to work a job today we can make a decision. I’ll be there for our family today. We can set boundaries today. Our lives are manageable today. We are humble. We have Melody today. We have boundaries that are not to be crossed because we won’t allow someone to play with our lives anymore. Today we challenge everybody to be better than we were because we know what it’s like to lose and not have we know what it’s like to relapse and reach near death. We know what it’s like not to have a drug and want and do anything in the world to get it, including hurt your parents or your children and for this matter we know what we can and cannot do anymore so if you have a family member or or a friend or an associate or whoever it may be that suffering from addiction I asked you to reach out to them. See if they need your help because a lot of them are just afraid to walk into the rooms and say I messed up I need somebody or a lot of are looked at because of family members or where they come from and they’re shamed that’s when you lift them up and you tell them I’m with you I have the courage to stand with you. You do not go around bashing people because of how their lives was unless you try to help them get out of it and then once that bashing is not concerned, you pray for that soul because it’s something that they cannot handle on their own so this is my message for today help one another even if someone is still out there you reach your hand down into the grave and you pull them back out because yesterday or today was not promised to that soul, especially if they’re still using you. Have a great day.

Like the Indian Chief said to Clint Eastwood in 'The Outlaw Josse Wales, "Your words are of iron". Thanks for the share, I can relate.
