Mindfulness

I’m grateful for the yoga I’ve been doing everyday. It’s been incredibly effective at helping me stay more mindful. When I’m feeling low, I notice my thoughts and don’t fall into the unworthiness spiral. And my body feels taken care of on top of it. As a kid genuine joy used to come so easy, like breathing, but nowadays joy is something I have to intentionally make space for, but when I do… it sure does feel like I’m a kid again. (When was the last time you completely reveled in the feeling of sunlight on your skin?) I’m not a very religious person but when this deep awareness happens, it’s like waking up from a lonely dream and suddenly remembering that the whole world is right here with me, and I was never alone, I was only dreaming.

Thanks for sharing that. Yes, the principles of the program give us “a new outlook on life”.
It is truly amazing.
