Dealing with people from my past being jealous of my sobriety so now telling my boyfriend when they ran into him lies about me when I was last using with them months ago. It’s sad people just can’t keep walking and stop running their mouths and lying on top of it. I know I’ve set my own track record of lying when I was using but I’m sober now and I don’t lie and I made a commitment to myself and my loved ones no matter what I won’t lie again. I told him they’re lying and I won’t feed into the lies and negativity. I suggest he doesn’t believe them and shouldn’t even give them kinds of people eye contact. I don’t subscribe to that bs anymore sorry.
