I agree with Torie Anne, and my kids haven't spoken to me in years. I feel your pain, I just keep focusing on staying sober so that when they do make contact I will be really far along with my days sober. Hang in there!

Hang in there Ryan. It will definitely get better if you stay sober and positive. This is the time to work on you. The 12 steps really are a major game changer.

It’s hard to choose yourself in these moments but you have to. You are doing the work to become the best version of yourself so that you can come back and be the dad they deserve. I understand wholeheartedly what you are going through. You are not alone.
